What is Long Term Care Insurance?
Long term care insurance is an insurance policy that covers the cost of long term care, such as assisted living communities, home care, adult daycare, hospice, nursing home care, and Alzheimers facilities. Long term care insurance covers care that generally is not covered by health insurance, Medicare, or Medicaid. Your age is not a determining requirement for needing long term care.
